10 tips when starting out as a supervisor

Supervising students is part of the academic role, but for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) starting out in supervision it can sometimes mean spending a lot of time without being particularly effective. The postdocs in CBCS/CEED at UQ asked the resident Chief Investigators to share their tips for student supervision, aka “What I wish I’d known when I started”.
